On Friday the 4th April, 26 dentists and dental care professionals took part in a day of clay pigeon shooting, archery and rifle shooting to raise money for Myton Hospices. The event was organized by the team at MODUS, and was a great success in its first year.
The event was the first annual MODUS Charity Day and aimed to raise £2000 for the local charity. “The event was really well supported”, says Matt Perkins, Director of MODUS and the event organizer “and we raised a total of £2556 for the hospices. Thank you to all of the event sponsors and those who attended on the day. We wanted to give something back to the local community, and the charity has touched the lives of many of our patients and staff alike. We hope to build on the success of this year, and have already booked the date for next year”.
The official presentation of the cheque takes place on the 13th June at the local Myton Hospices shop in Tile Hill, just around the corner from MODUS.
The date for next year is Friday 27th March 2015. Places are strictly limited by the venue so places can be reserved by emailing MODUS on [email protected]
